A new Women’s ministry has been formed at RLC!!! The purpose of this ministry is to become better connected with God and each other as women of the RLC community. The new ministry will provide opportunities for Bible studies, reading clubs, prayer partners, “Church Moms”, health education seminars and fairs, quarterly brunch meetings, community service projects and social events just to name a few things we have in store for you.
The ministry team is also in the process of reviewing materials to start a Bible study in the fall. More information will be forthcoming in September on the study.
Please be sure to check out our Reading Club. They are off and running with meetings twice a month at Borders book store south of Paradise Valley Mall. This is a great opportunity to meet as a small group and share the joy of reading! For more information about this awesome club, please contact Donna Shepherd at 602-494-1446.

Activities The ministry team is busy working on creating more events and activities from the suggestions you gave us at the May brunch. Our next event will be held on Saturday, November 6th from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Join us in the Fellowship Hall for “Celebrate Well: Healthy, Happy, and Holy Holidays.” We will be having a potluck lunch with some very special speakers to give us some tools to help manage the upcoming holidays which can be stressful for us in many different ways. We will focus on ways to reduce stress, keep our bodies and minds healthy, handle the emotions that can come about during the holidays and most importantly, keep us focused on the spiritual reasons for the holidays. So mark the date on your calendar and watch for more details in your weekly Sunday bulletins and flyers.
