It is hard to believe that it is fall already; kids going back to school, football starting and here at RLC, we have returned to three services. Soon all of our fall programming will begin with exciting opportunities for members and friends of all ages. Our theme this fall is “Just Jump In!” Please come and join us. Whether you are new to study and growth opportunities or you are a veteran of study…just jump in! Perhaps you don’t know exactly what you would like. Come and check out Faith Basics. We will spend five weeks discussing such things as prayer, our devotional life, Lutheran doctrine, and an overview of both the Old and New Testaments.
Maybe you have done the basic stuff and want a challenge. We have those too! Many of you are gifted leaders. We need you! There are always opportunities to form new groups and we have groups that always welcome new members. Something new this year is a class Pastor Dick will be leading to guide those interested in becoming a mentor.
There will be two separate Financial Peace University opportunities and several options for parents on Wednesday nights. We have many Bible study groups, all of which would welcome you. Our goal is to help everyone have a deeper relationship to Christ than the one they have right now. God’s Word is living! Come! Join us! Jump in!
You will be receiving a brochure with a chance to make your own plan for spiritual growth. I ask that you read it from cover to cover. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me. On Sunday September 19 during worship, we will invite you to bring your plan forward and we will dedicate our plans to the Lord. It is going to be an amazing fall! Won’t you join us and jump in?
