RLC’S primary mission is to build followers of Jesus who love God and love their neighbor. We strongly encourage followers of Jesus at RLC to grow by connecting with a caring group of people.
These caring groups of people – service project groups, ministry teams, fellowship and small groups – are regularly invited to take a next step of faith based on spiritual prompting. These next steps will involve a move along the circle of life in Christ in either service, a ministry, fellowship or small groups depending upon how they perceive God is leading them to respond and grow.
It is the vision of Resurrection that growing followers of Jesus will respond in love to their neighbors by reaching out to another. Our caring community in Christ is about the love of God taking on flesh and bones as followers of Jesus perceive a need and respond to that need in love. As we grow more followers of Jesus, we reach more and more people with the love of Jesus. Through our “building another” and “reaching another”, the kingdom of God is among us and we are faithful to Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations.
