Our mission is to reinforce families by reaching kids through modeling God’s Word, connecting them to Christ, and inspiring enthusiastic believers.
RLC’s Children’s Ministry team believes that kids are never too young (N.2.Y) to be a disciple of Christ and live out the scripture from 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” With this in mind, this year our Pre-K through 3rd grade kids are learning what it means to reflect TheHeart of God in everyday life through curriculum that brings biblical lessons and stories to life with interesting and age appropriate activities that reach even the littlest listener. Our 4th-6th graders will learn how to Be Bold as preteens who navigate tough questions about faith and who continue to build their relationship with God.
Sunday School is offered during the 10:00am service. Nursery is available for infants through 3-year-olds at the 8:30am and 10:00am services.
wednesday night: be the light
Families are invited to join our Wednesday Night: Be the Light program. We gather for dinner together at 5:30 before starting a service project at 6:00pm. Parents can participate or return at 6:45pm when we conclude. This is an evening where families do not have to plan or prepare dinner but can come, sit, and eat together among friends. Then, after stomachs are full, leaders gather kids to fill hearts through service to others. Past projects include collecting funds for Rice Bowls, making place mats for Green Lea Senior Living Home, and serving at Feed My Starving Children.
