Children’s Ministry at RLC is all about connecting kids to Jesus Christ in age appropriate ways.
Sunday School Every Sunday, students and teachers gather for worship through music, videos, and fun hands-on activities. Our DIG IN curriculum brings biblical lessons and stories to life where interesting and age appropriate activities reach even the littlest listener--whether we are extracting DNA from strawberries, re-enacting a flood, or creating shields. We provide a safe, loving environment that cultivates the children's love for God and the world He created. Children age 4 through 6th grade attend class while the nursery is available for infants through 3-year-olds. Sunday School is offered during the 10:00am service. Wednesday Nights Families are also invited to join our Wednesday Night: Be the Light program. We gather for dinner together at 5:15pm before starting a service project at 5:45pm. Parents can participate or return at 6:30pm when we conclude. This is an evening where families do not have to plan or prepare dinner but can come, sit, and eat together among friends. Then, after stomachs are full, leaders gather kids to fill hearts through service to others. Past projects include making blankets for kids at Cardon Children's Hospital, baking treats for dogs/cats at Home Fur Good, and decorating boxes for Packages Form Home sent to soldiers overseas.
Children's Choir We learn fun songs, songs we sing in church, and simple music reading skills, all while giving God praise! We meet on Wednesdays from 6:45pm-7:30pm. All children 3rd through 6th grade are welcome! For more information, contact Valerie Cooksey.
Camps F.R.O.G. Camp: Coming June 2019 Students entering 3rd-6th grades are invited to cool off in the beautiful Prescott pines for a long weekend of fun games, crafts, skits, and stories while diving into the Bible together to develop a deeper relationship with God. It's a great adventure for young campers who will bring home lasting memories.
