How did you come to know Christ? I grew up going to church with my parents in Minnesota. However, the Bible never really spoke to me, as we used the King James version and it was pretty ‘deep’ for me. The first time we did the Daily Walk Bible at RLC… I was amazed at how my eyes were opened to God’s story. The moment I actually FELT God, was on a Good Friday years ago during a song being sung in an afternoon service we had that year. I stepped back into my office and burst into tears being overwhelmed at the power of those words and what God had done for me. It was incredible.
How did you come to Resurrection? Our family joined in 1996 after moving to this area from Central Phoenix. I joined the staff in 1999 when RLC advertised need for an Administrator.
What do you do at Resurrection? Answer lots of questions! I am on the Connections Ministry Team, a Stephen Minister Leader (referrals); I help support our Care Ministry, Outreach and other RLC ministry teams. I also help oversee the administrative functions of RLC.
What’s your favorite thing about your job? More than one favorite thing… The people of RLC and the team I get to serve with. The joy of seeing someone get connected where they are gifted… and develop relationships that help them thrive and SEE/FEEL God working in their life.
