How did you come to know Christ?
I grew up going to church with my family. However, the Bible never really spoke to me, as we used the King James version, and it was hard for me to understand. The first time we read through the Bible in a year at RLC, the Words finally started to sink in. I have experienced a number of “God moments”, but one that really stands out took place during one of the songs in a Good Friday service. I was overwhelmed at the power of those words reminding me what God had done for me.
How did you come to Resurrection?
Our family joined RLC in 1996 after moving to this area from Central Phoenix. I joined the staff in 1999.
What do you do at Resurrection?
Answer lots of questions! I get to coordinate our Sunday morning volunteers, am one of our Stephen Ministry Leaders - handling referrals - and help support our Care Ministry and Outreach efforts. I also assist with some administrative functions.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
I am grateful to serve this family of faith and for the staff with whom I get to serve. I have a passion to connect people needing care and support with others who have had similar life circumstances to journey through those seasons together; and to witness them experiencing God at work - strengthening their faith in the midst of their trials.
Tell us about your family.
